IBM support for Application Support Facility (ASF) software for high volume customer communications is discontinued on 30 September 2017. If you are not already well into an upgrade project with icon, then this is a 'must read' summary of why continuing to 'do nothing' is likely to be bad for your business. 

The summary provides some detail as to the types of risk to expect, mitigation approaches and a costed/weighted risk matrix. The risks range from catastrophic failure through data errors and the inability to make changes in a timely fashion. Accurately predicting the total exposure is a ‘best informed guess’ exercise and so has a broad probable range. The weighted exposure includes the estimated probability of the event happening during the next five years and gives a risk-adjusted perspective.

This template is based on customer experiences but is shared on the basis that each organisation will customise the numbers to fit their own circumstances.
